Gasoline, diesel, kerosene pump prices up by over P1/liter Tuesday, June 17, 2025
Motorists will have to pay more for petroleum products this week, as retailers on Monday announced major upward adjustments to mark the fifth straight week of increases for gasoline, third for diesel, and second for kerosene.
In separate advisories, Seaoil Philippines Corp. and Shell Pilipinas Corp. said they will increase prices per liter of gasoline and diesel by P1.80 each, and kerosene by P1.50.
Cleanfuel will implement the same changes, excluding kerosene which it does not carry.
The adjustments will take effect at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, June 17, for all the firms except for Cleanfuel which will hike prices at 4:01 p.m. the same day.
Other firms have yet to make similar announcements for the week
The Department of Energy-Oil Industry Management Bureau (DOE-OIMB) earlier projected pump price hikes this week, citing gains on positive US-China trade signals, the stall in nuclear negotiations between US and Iran, and the expected oil demand growth in the next two and a half decades.
Firms last week hiked prices per liter of gasoline by P0.60, diesel by P0.95, and kerosene by P0.30. —AOL, GMA Integrated News
