LPG prices roll back by over P2/kg

Fuel retailers on Friday lowered the prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by more than P2 per kilogram.
In an advisory, Petron said it has slashed the price of its household LPG by P2.50 per kilo, effective 12:01 a.m. on August 1, 2025.
"This reflects the international contract price of LPG for the month of August," Petron said.
Solane also announced that it has rolled back the price of its LPG product by P2.45 per kilo, effective 8 a.m. on Friday.
Last month, LPG retailers slashed the price of its LPG tanks by P1 per kilo.
As of July, the domestic price of a typical 11-kilogram LPG cylinder stands at P819 to P1,099. — VDV, GMA Integrated News
