Petron to hike LPG prices for September 2025

Petron Corp. over the weekend announced an increase in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices in September, following the rollback implemented this month.

In an advisory, Petron said it will hike LPG prices by P0.20 per kilogram effective 12:01 a.m. on Monday, September 1.

“This reflects the international contract price of LPG for the month of September,” the advisory read.

This comes after Petron slashed household LPG prices by P2.50 per kilogram on August 1, 2025.

Meanwhile, Solane said there will be no price movement for its LPG products in September.

Data from the Department of Energy (DOE) show that prices of 11-kilogram cylinders were estimated to have ranged from P792.50 to P1,062.50 for the month of August. — Jon Viktor D. Cabuenas/BM, GMA Integrated News
