STI nets P2.22 billion as enrollment hits all-time high


STI Education Systems Holdings Inc. posted a 38% growth in its net income for the fiscal year 2024-2025 to reach a record P2.22 billion, as the private school operator reported an all-time high in enrollment during the period.

Revenues for the year climbed 18% to P5.56 billion, as enrollment grew 15% to hit 138,060 students for the school year from 119,543 in the previous year. This brought operating income up 33% to P2.36 billion, and operating margins to 43%.

Enrollment in programs under the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) grew 20% to 100,161 students, equivalent to 73% of total enrollment. There were 2,183 students enrolled in iACADEMY, while the rest were in other technical-vocational courses, and in junior and high school programs.

“Building on our strong performance in SY 2024-2025, we are committed to delivering quality education through continued focus on academic innovation and digital integration,” STI Holdings president and chief executive officer Monico Jacob said in a regulatory filing.

“We remain focused on optimizing our nationwide education network and building capacity that strengthens our leadership in the Philippine education sector,” he added.

STI Holdings currently operates a network of 66 schools across the country. Its subsidiaries include STI Education Services Group, STI West Negros University, and iACADEMY.
