Converge nets P8.9B in Jan.-Sept. 2025

Converge Information and Communications Technology Solutions Inc. on Thursday reported an 8.4% growth in its net income for the first nine months of the year, on the back of the sustained growth of residential and enterprise businesses.

In a regulatory filing, Converge said its net income for January to September increased to P8.9 billion to reflect a 27.0% net income margin, as consolidated revenues climbed 10.1% to P33.0 billion.

The company’s residential business revenue increased by 9.1% to P27.7 billion, as subscribers hit 1.926 million—1.416 million postpaid and 510,032 prepaid. Enterprise revenue grew 16.2% to P5.2 billion.

According to Converge, the Bifrost Cable System, which landed in Davao in August, is expected to be operational by the end of the year.

The company owns and operates the Davao International Cable Landing Station (ICLS), where the Philippine branch of the trans-Pacific cable system will be terminated, providing the company access to the international subsea cable.

“With this critical infrastructure in place, we are not only enabling digital transformation but also creating new trade pathways and opportunities for the Philippines,” Converge chief executive officer and co-founder Dennis Anthony Uy said.

“We are enabling secure, high-capacity, cross-border data flows that will drive global trade, power innovation, and position the Philippines as a formidable player in the digital economy,” he added. —VBL, GMA Integrated News
