PAL to launch Manila-Palau route on March 29, 2026

Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) is launching a new flight service connecting Manila and Palau’s largest city, Koror.

In a news release on Thursday, PAL said the Manila-Palau route will begin service on March 29, 2026 with twice-weekly flights.

The airline said it is offering special introductory fares starting at $499 roundtrip economy base fare and $1,239 roundtrip business class base fare for booking until December 18, 2025, covering travel period beginning March 29, 2026 and beyond.

PAL said the flights from Manila are scheduled every Wednesday and Sunday, departing at 10:15 p.m. and arriving in Koror at 2:00 a.m. (local time).

Meanwhile, return flights from Koror to Manila operate on Mondays and Thursdays, taking off at 3:10 a.m. (local time) and landing in Manila at 4:55 a.m.

PAL said the Manila-Palau service will be operated by its modern 199-seater dual-class Airbus A321ceo.

The flag carrier said the new route strengthens its presence in the Pacific region.

“Creating flights to this Pacific island will stimulate tourism travel among beach lovers and the diving community. Travelers can expect world-class service on board their flights combined with Philippine Airlines’ renowned Filipino heartfelt care,” said PAL president Richard Nuttall.

PAL said the new route complements its existing Western Pacific service to Guam, “further enhancing travel opportunities for leisure and business passengers across the region.” — Ted Cordero/BM, GMA Integrated News
