Gasoline prices up by P1.20 per liter on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025

Motorists should brace for gasoline price hike this week. 

In separate advisories on Monday, Shell Philippines, Petro Gazz, Caltex, Cleanfuel, and Seaoil said the prices of gasoline would increase by P1.20 per liter on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.

The adjustment will take effect in most oil firms beginning 6 a.m. except Cleanfuel which will implement the changes at 4:01 pm.

There will be no movement in the prices of kerosene and diesel. 

This would be the second consecutive week that the price of gasoline would increase. This is the 34th hike this year, according to GMA Integrated News Research.

It added that the estimated retail pump prices of gasoline in Metro Manila with the price hike would be P52.95 to P73.09 per liter.

The prevailing price range is P51.75 to P71.89 per liter. —AOL, GMA Integrated News
