LIST: Bank schedules for Christmas 2025 holidays

Most branches of Philippine banks will be closed starting Wednesday, December 24, in celebration of the holidays, but their digital banking services and automated teller machines (ATMs) will continue to be available.

Below are advisories from lenders that have so far announced their schedules:

Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI)
Branches will be closed on December 24, 25, 30, and 31, 2025; and January 1, 2026.

BDO Unibank Inc.
Branches will be open December 26 to December 29

Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co. (Metrobank)

Philippine National Bank (PNB)
Select branches will be open during the holiday season

Security Bank Corp.

Malacañang earlier declared December 24 or Christmas Eve and December 31 as special non-working days, and December 25 or Christmas Day and December 30 or Rizal Day, along with January 1, 2026 as regular holidays.

The Palace also suspended government work on December 29, 2025, and January 2, 2026 amid the holiday season.
