Diesel, kerosene prices up Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025; gasoline unchanged

Diesel, kerosene prices up Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025; gasoline unchanged

Fuel retailers on Monday announced another round of pump price hikes this week, bringing the year-to-date net increases for both gasoline and diesel up by over P20 per liter.

In separate advisories, Seaoil Philippines Corp. and Shell Pilipinas Corp. said it will keep prices per liter of gasoline unchanged, while hiking those of diesel and kerosene by P0.60 each.

Cleanfuel and Petro Gazz will implement the same changes, excluding kerosene which they do not carry.

The adjustments will take effect at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, December 30, for all the firms except for Cleanfuel which will implement the changes at 4:01 p.m. the same day.

With the changes, the net adjustments for the year will stand at a net increase of P20.50 per liter for gasoline, P20.85 per liter for diesel, and P5.55 per liter for kerosene.

The Department of Energy-Oil Industry Management Bureau (DOE-OIMB) earlier projected a rollback for gasoline, no adjustment for diesel, and an increase for kerosene citing the global oversupply, weak demand, and geopolitical tensions.

Retailers last week cut pump prices by P0.80 a liter for gasoline, P1.30 for diesel and P1.60 for kerosene, leaving year-to-date adjustments at net increases of P20.50 a liter for gasoline, P20.25 for diesel and P4.95 for kerosene. —AOL, GMA Integrated News
