Jollibee group eyes US exchange listing for new global business arm
Homegrown fast food giant Jollibee Foods Corp. (JFC) on Tuesday announced plans to create a standalone international business, Jollibee Foods Corporation International (JFCI), which it intends to list on a US securities exchange by 2027.
According to JFC, the international company will include all operations and businesses outside the Philippines. It ended September 2025 with 6,859 stores abroad.
“As a proudly homegrown Philippine company, we carry our heritage and express our national pride into this next chapter of our journey,” Jollibee Group global president and chief executive officer Ernesto Tanmantiong said in a statement.
“Our move toward an international listing demonstrates the strength of the Jollibee Group, a company with Filipino roots competing on the world stage,” he added.
The Philippine business will remain listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange. Existing shareholders are set to receive shares in JFCI subject to taxes and regulatory approvals, which they may then decide to hold or sell.
JFC said the transaction is targeted to be completed in 2027, subject to market conditions, regulatory approvals, and the completion of customary reviews. It has engaged both local and international advisers and has already started work on the proposed structure and potential US filing.
The Jollibee Group includes wholly-owned brands Jollibee, Chowking, Greenwich, Red Ribbon, Mang Inasal, Yonghe King, Hong Zhuang Yuan, Smashburger, and Tim Ho Wan. It also includes franchised brands Burger King, Panda Express, Yoshinoya, Common Man Coffee Roasters, and Tiong Bahru Bakery.
It also has ownership stakes in The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Compose Coffee, SuperFoods Group that operates Highlands Coffee, and bubble tea brand Milksha.
Jollibee Group earlier said it expects to deliver double-digit and top and bottom-line growth in 2025, after it reported a 4.0% increase in its net income for the third quarter of 2025 to P3.103 billion. –NB, GMA Integrated News
