PhilWeb to run Hann Casino’s online gaming

Gaming company PhilWeb Corp. has partnered with Hann Casino, which operates an 11-hectare integrated resort in the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga, to run and expand its online gaming business in the Philippines.

Under the partnership, PhilWeb said it would support the operation and management of Hann’s online gaming platform, with plans to enhance platform performance, player experience, and overall operational efficiency.

“This partnership reflects both parties’ shared commitment to delivering a secure, compliant, and high-quality digital gaming experience aligned with regulatory requirements,” PhilWeb said in a regulatory filing.

“Both parties view this partnership as a long-term collaboration aimed at sustainable growth, innovation, and the continued development of regulated online gaming offerings in the Philippines,” it added.

Hann Casino Resort is home to 274 table games and 1,721 gaming machines, alongside over 800 luxury rooms from Swissôtel Clark and Clark Marriott.

PhilWeb, meanwhile, is licensed by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (PAGCOR) to launch e-Games stations, or internet cafes exclusively dedicated to casino games, across the country. Its subsidiaries include BigGame Inc., PhilWeb Capital Corp., Easy e-Bingo Inc., NDM Entities, UMIAC Inc., and XO Corporation.

Shares in PhilWeb closed Thursday at P7.08 apiece, up P0.58, or 8.92%, from Wednesday’s finish of P6.50 per share. —VBL, GMA Integrated News
