NanoForge Solutions invests $1.2M for air filter manufacturing plant in Cavite
Manufacturing firm NanoForge Solutions Inc. has launched a $1.2-million advanced air filter production plant in Carmona, Cavite, as the company seeks to position the Philippines as a global hub for high-value products moving forward.
The 2,600-square-meter facility — which was officially inaugurated on January 15, 2026 — is set to primarily serve export markets including the United States. The company currently has a total of 65 employees, which it seeks to nearly quadruple to 250 by 2027.
“NanoForge Solutions was established with a mission to deliver clean, safe indoor air through the production of world-class air filtration products, while helping position the Philippines as a credible and globally competitive destination for technology-driven manufacturing,” the company said in a statement.
“As part of its sustainability roadmap, the company plans to integrate locally sourced raw materials and natural waste by-products, supporting long-term, environmentally responsible manufacturing practices,” it added.
NanoForge is led by its chief executive officer and co-founder Michael Hansson, and co-founders Victor Aliwalas, and Paul Rivera.
“Beyond its own operations, NanoForge Solutions aims to serve as a platform for attracting global manufacturing mandates, particularly from companies seeking to diversify supply chains beyond China,” it said.—AOL, GMA Integrated News
