MYEG, PEZA renew partnership for locators' digital payment options

Electronic solutions provider MYEG Philippines Inc. has renewed its partnership with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), giving locators access to over 100,000 payment options across the country.

Under the partnership, PEZA locators will continue to be allowed to make payments through e-wallets GCash, Shopee Pay, Palawan Pay, Grab Pay, and Maya; online bank transfers; and through credit and debit cards.

They may also opt to pay in cash through over-the-country partners including Cebuana Lhuillier, Palawan Express, Bayad Center, 7-Eleven, SM Malls, Robinsons Department Stores, Tambunting Pawnshop, and RD Pawnshop, among others.

Locators can also settle fees using corporate bank accounts through check payments at partner banks, or through QRPh available across participating lenders and e-wallets.

The partnership renewal was signed by MYEG Philippines chief executive officer Ann Margaret Saldaña, and PEZA Director General Tereso Panga on January 28.

"Through this renewal, MYEG will be able to continue expanding digital payment options for PEZA fees, empowering locators to focus on growing their businesses while enjoying seamless, flexible, and secure ways to fulfill their obligations," Saldaña said.

"Leveraging on cashless and paperless transaction systems helps us improve service delivery, enhance transparency, and further strengthen the Philippines competitiveness as an investment destination," Panga said. — VDV, GMA Integrated News
