GCash lending arm disbursed ₱362B loans in 2025
The lending arm of Globe-backed fintech giant Mynt, the parent company of GCash, has disbursed P362 billion worth of loans in 2025 on the back of efforts to ease credit access for Filipinos.
In a news release, Mynt said its lending unit Fuse Financing saw its loan disbursements grow 65% from 2024.
The growth was driven by over 10.5 million unique borrowers and GScore —its proprietary trust scoring system, according to the fintech firm.
Last week, Fuse signed a partnership with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to boost financing for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the country through a P1.75-billion loan facility.
Mynt also said its contributions to Globe’s earnings stood at P6.1 billion in 2025, up 64% year-on-year.
“Our growth momentum continues as digital finance becomes more embedded in daily life,” said Martha Sazon, president and CEO of Mynt.
“We are doubling down on expanding financial access to the masses through everyday payments, fair lending, and inclusive wealth and insurance products,” said Sazon. —Ted Cordero/RF, GMA Integrated News
