PhilWeb Corp. to build, operate FBM PH online platform
Listed gaming services firm PhilWeb Corp. has signed a strategic service agreement with FBM, a global provider of video bingo and electronic gaming machines, to build and operate the latter’s Philippine online gaming platform under a fully integrated online-to-offline model.
In a regulatory filing, PhilWeb said it will deliver technology services, systems integration, and regulatory-compliant support to develop and run FBM Philippines’ online platform, which will be directly linked to the company’s existing machines and physical venues.
FBM, which operates in the e-bingo segment, has a network of more than 500 gaming venues and up to 30,000 machines nationwide.
The partnership aims to help physical venues address declining foot traffic, enhance player engagement, and strengthen on-site operations.
“This partnership enables us to extend our online presence in a way that directly benefits our offline business,” FBM Philippines country manager Pepe Costa said.
“By deploying online-driven features across our machines and venues, we can offer a more engaging experience for players while creating stronger revenue opportunities for our partners nationwide,” he added.
PhilWeb did not disclose financial details of the agreement or the rollout timeline.
“Rather than launching a standalone online product, this collaboration allows us to help FBM build online capabilities that are deeply integrated into their existing machine and venue network,” PhilWeb president Brian Ng said.
“By embedding online functionality directly into physical venues, we can support FBM in driving engagement and revitalizing offline operations at scale,” he added.
Last month, PhilWeb also partnered with Hann Casino, which operates an 11-hectare integrated resort in the Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga, to run and expand its online gaming business in the country.—MCG, GMA Integrated News
