PAL rolls out 85th anniversary seat sale

Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) on Monday announced its promotional one-way base fares for as low as P85 for domestic flights and $85 for international routes, in celebration of its 85th Anniversary.

In an advisory, PAL said the promotional fares will be available for booking from March 2 to 15, 2026, for travel starting March 2 for international flights, and April 1 for domestic flights.

The promotional fares include flights to local destinations such as Cagayan de Oro, Boracay (Caticlan), Butuan, Iloilo, and Ozamiz, and international destinations such as Hong Kong, Xiamen, Taipei, Bangkok, Hanoi, and Singapore.

PAL posted 62% growth in its net income for the third quarter of 2025 to $22 million, driven by the higher frequency of flights and a steady passenger volume during the period. This brought its nine-month net income up 17% to $159 million. — RSJ, GMA Integrated News
