STI Holdings posts 18% net income growth from June to December 2025

STI Education Systems Holdings Inc. (STI Holdings) on Thursday reported an 18% growth in its net income for the first half ending December 2025, even as its enrollment for the period saw a decline due to the early start of classes in public junior and senior high schools.

In a regulatory filing, STI Holdings said its net income for the first half climbed to P1.08 billion from P912.2 million the previous year, as gross revenues increased by 8% to P2.83 billion from P2.63 billion.

STI said its total enrollment for the school year 2025-2026 stood at 132,941, down from 139,155 in the previous school year.

This comes as classes in public junior and senior high schools started on June 16, 2025, while the company’s biggest subsidiary STI Education Services Group and STI West Negros University commenced classes on July 28, 2025.

Its tertiary programs recorded an increase to 102,407 from 101,256, with students enrolled in Commission on Higher Education (CHED)0-regulated programs grew to 73,421 students.

STI Holdings also operates iACADEMY, which offers specialized programs in senior high school and college centered on computing, business, and design.

“STI Holdings stays committed to producing job-ready graduates by adopting specialized platforms for cybersecurity and computer-aided design for its Criminology and information and Communication Technology programs, as well as Adobe Creative Cloud licenses for its Multimedia Arts program,” the company said.

“This initiative prepares students for industry-aligned certifications, aimed at further increasing competitiveness in the modern workforce,” it added. —RF, GMA Integrated News
