Jollibee Group eyes up to 12% system-wide sales growth in 2026

Homegrown fast food operator Jollibee Foods Corp. (JFC) is looking to post up to 12% growth in its system-wide sales this year, with the company set to spend as much as P16 billion and expand its network by up to 1,300 stores.

In a regulatory filing, JFC said it projects full year system-wide sales growth to range from 8% to 12%, with same store sales growth of 4% to 6%, and store network increase of 5% to 10%, with operating income growth expected between 15% and 18%.

The company has set a capital expenditure (capex) range of P13 billion to P16 billion, as it expects to widen its network by 1,200 to 1,300 stores gross.

JFC on Wednesday reported a 12% growth in systemwide sales for the fourth quarter of 2025 to P122.300 billion from P109.180 billion, bringing revenues up 9.8% to P80.890 billion from P73.695 billion. Net income for the quarter increased 3.5% to P1.988 billion from P1.920 billion.

This brought full-year system-wide sales up 16.6% to P455.111 billion from P390.284 billion, and revenues 13% higher to P305.112 billion from P269.942 billion. Net income jumped 13.8% to P41.830 billion from P36.746 billion.

“For 2026, we are targeting continued top-line momentum and further operating income expansion, supported by strong cash generation and disciplined capital allocation,” JFC chief financial and risk officer Richard Shin said in the filing.

“We remain confident in our ability to build on this momentum and deliver sustainable, profitable growth for our shareholders,” he added.

The Jollibee Group’s portfolio includes wholly-owned brands Jollibee, Chowking, Greenwich, Red Ribbon, Mang Inasal, Yonghe King, Hong Zhuang Yuan, Smashburger, and Tim Ho Wan; and franchised brands Burger King, Panda Express, Yoshinoya, Common Man Coffee Roasters, and Tiong Bahru Bakery.

It also has ownership stakes in The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf (80%), Compose Coffee (70%), and bubble tea brand Milksha (51%), along with membership interests in Tortazo, LLC.

Just last month JFC, through its subsidiary Jolli-K Co. Ltd., inked an $87 million agreement to acquire All Day Fresh Co. Ltd. which operates Korea’s hot pot chain Shabu All Day. —RF, GMA Integrated News
