Diesel prices are seen to spike to as high as more than P130 per liter while gasoline may go up past P100 a liter this week as the series of mega oil price hikes due to the Middle East conflict enters its third week.

Data released by the Department of Energy on Tuesday showed the range of adjustments for March 24 to 30, 2026.

For gasoline, the price adjustment was at P8 to P12 per liter, bringing the pump price ranges for RON97 at P87.69 to P112.40 per liter, RON 95 at P83.10 to P109.78 per liter, and RON 91 at P82.60 to P102.50 per liter.

For diesel, the price increase stood at P15 to P18 per liter, bringing its pump price range at P107 to P134.30, while diesel plus price ranges at P114.99 to P144.20 per liter.

Kerosene, on the other hand, went up by P12 to P22 per liter, bringing its pump price range to stand at P111.99 to P165.79 per liter.

Jetti Petroleum earlier announced it raised gasoline prices by P8.00 per liter and diesel prices by P18.00 per liter, effective 6 a.m. Tuesday, March 24.

Petron, likewise, said it will implement the following fuel price adjustments, effective 6 a.m. on Tuesday:

  • Gasoline - P10.50 per liter
  • Diesel - P17.50 per liter
  • Kerosene - P21.50 per liter

Cleanfuel, meanwhile, said it will implement a staggered increase of P8.40 per liter for diesel and a one-time increase of P9.40 per liter hike for gasoline, effective 8:01 a.m. Tuesday.

“The increase is still attributed to ongoing conflict in the Middle East,” Energy Secretary Sharon Garin said at a virtual press briefing.

“Even though it is smaller than last week, this is still a significant jump, considering that it will still affect our transportation industry as well as all industries, as well as the buying power of our households, you know,” Garin said.

The Energy chief said the smaller increment in pump prices this week was “because there has been a slowdown on the increase on the per barrel price in the international market.”
