Diesel, kerosene pump prices up by over P4/liter Tuesday, June 9, 2026

Motorists will have to pay more for petroleum products this week, as retailers on Monday announced another round of upward adjustments following the rollbacks in the past week.

Below are advisories from the companies that have released advisories for pump price adjustments so far, on a per liter basis:

Seaoil Philippines Corp.

  • Gasoline: + P0.30
  • Diesel: + P5.77
  • Kerosene: + P8.10

Shell Pilipinas Corp.

  • Gasoline: + P0.30
  • Diesel: + P4.85
  • Kerosene: + P4.75

Unioil Petroleum Philippines Inc.

  • Gasoline: + P0.30
  • Diesel: + P4.90

The adjustments will take effect at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, June 9.

Other firms have yet to make similar announcements for the week.

Latest data available from the Department of Energy (DOE) show that the country’s total fuel inventory is good for an equivalent to 47.09 days as of Monday, June 8.

Broken down, the country’s gasoline supply is estimated to last 44.81 days, diesel for 45.21 days, kerosene for 143.09 days, jet fuel for 73.25 days, fuel oil for 41.01 days, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for 45.04 days.

An oil industry source earlier projected mixed movement this week, citing the stalled diplomacy talks and the prolonged supply disruption following the suspension of negotiations on the peace deal in the Middle East.

Retailers last week rolled back prices per liter by a minimum of P4.76 for gasoline, P9.26 for diesel, and P10.86 for kerosene. —AOL/BM, GMA News
