Cloud firm Acumatica bares 3-year plan for PH expansion

Cloud enterprise resource planning (ERP) provider Acumatica is bullish on expanding its presence in the Philippines as it outlined a three-year roadmap targeting to increase its local revenues by 2028.

“The Philippines is the largest market in Asia for us so far. We make most of our revenue from the Philippines,” Thorsten Leppek, Acumatica’s Director for the Asia Region, said at a business summit in Mandaluyong City on Wednesday.

“The Philippines represents one of the strongest growth opportunities for Acumatica in the region,” Leppek said.

Regina Reyes, Acumatica Partner Account Manager for the Philippines, also cited the Philippines’ economic prospect of 5.8% to 6% growth rate with manufacturing, construction, distribution, and logistics industries actively investing in modernization – hence accelerating the adoption of cloud ERP and artificial intelligence (AI)-driven technologies.

“The Philippines remains one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic economies,” she said.

The cloud ERP firm already counts 100 customers in the country.

Under its three-year roadmap, Acumatica is pivoting to build its presence to accelerating growth in the country.

Meanwhile, Leppek said the cloud ERP firm could see its revenues doubling in the next three years, noting that the company’s unlimited user licensing model means customer headcount is not the primary metric – revenue growth is.

He added that Acumatica is increasingly engaging with Philippine conglomerates and large-scale enterprises.

“We are more and more going into enterprises. We speak more and more with conglomerates,” he said.

Acumatica’s industry focus in the Philippines spans construction, manufacturing, distribution, retail, and professional services – sectors it plans to deepen its footprint in over the next three years.

The push comes as the Philippines continues to attract technology investment.

Moreover, Reyes said Acumatica’s three-year roadmap charts establishing the company’s market leadership by 2028, with an overarching vision to become the trusted cloud ERP partner for growing businesses across the Philippines. — JMA, GMA News
