PAL offers up to 15% discount for groups flying to Korea

Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) on Friday announced promotional offers of up to 15% off in base fares for groups flying to Seoul and Busan, in line with a partnership with the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO).

Under the promo, travelers can avail of up to 15% off base fares for groups of three and 10% off for groups of two under a single booking reference, covering both one-way and roundtrip flights to Seoul and Busan.

The bookings will be open until July 18, 2026, with the travel period ongoing.

According to PAL, the promo is “designed for small groups who want to experience the best of Hallyu together — from iconic K-drama locations and K-pop hotspots to Korea’s rich culture, cuisine, and seasonal attractions.”

PAL reported a 2.6% growth in its first-quarter net income to $78.55 million, as revenues climbed 9.7% to $895.70 million after flying 4.30 million passengers.

“Our first quarter results reflect both the strength of demand for Philippine travel and the disciplined execution of our team,” PAL President Richard Nuttall said.

The carrier currently operates scheduled nonstop flights from its hubs in Manila and Cebu to 29 destinations across the Philippines, and 40 in Asia, North America, Australia, and the Middle East. — RSJ, GMA News
