Alliance Global nets P16B in H1 2026, up 3%
Tycoon Andrew Tan’s conglomerate, Alliance Global Group Inc. (AGI), reported a 3% increase in net income to P16 billion in the first half of 2026, from P15.6 billion a year earlier.
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange on Friday, AGI said its consolidated revenues also grew 3% to P90 billion, excluding a one-time gain from deconsolidation of Golden Arches Development Corp or McDonald’s Philippines last year.
"In a demanding global environment, the strength of this Group is its mix. Our recurring property income kept compounding, our gaming business grew earnings even as the industry moved away from VIP play, and our spirits continued to grow on a stronger portfolio. Diversified, high-quality earnings are what carry us through cycles, and that is where we continue to invest," said Kevin Tan, president and CEO of AGI.
“We enter the second half with real momentum in our highest-quality businesses and a balance sheet built to support our growth plans,” he added.
AGI’s portfolio spans real estate development through property giant Megaworld Corporation; spirits manufacturing through Emperador Inc.; leisure, entertainment, and hospitality through Travellers International Hotel Group Inc.; and quick-service restaurants through its interest in Golden Arches. —VBL, GMA News
