GCash parent Mynt targets October 20, 2026 PSE listing in major IPO
Mynt Inc., the parent company of GCash, has set the official listing of its shares on the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) on October 20, 2026.
In its prospectus, the GCash parent’s initial public offering (IPO) —the largest and most anticipated market debut— presented its timetable for the offer.
Mynt set the pricing date on October 1, 2026, followed by the notice of final offer price to the PSE and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on October 2, 2026.
The offer period for the GCash parent is set for October 6 to 12, 2026.
In June, Mynt announced its intent to finally offer its shares to the investing public.
The financial technology company is eyeing to offer about 12% of its outstanding capital stock.
It was earlier reported that GCash, under Mynt, is seeking at least $8 billion in valuation when it goes public.
Mynt is a partnership between Globe Telecom Inc., the Ayala Group, and Ant Financial.
Meanwhile, in a market commentary, B.A. Securities Inc. and H.E. Bennett Securities Inc. said the upcoming IPO filing for Mynt could serve as a strong potential catalyst to boost Globe’s stock price over the coming months.
The stockbrokers said that Mynt’s IPO could also “command massive financial momentum” for Globe. –NB, GMA News
