Centro Escolar University to pay dividends in December

Centro Escolar University (CEU) has announced that it is declaring cash dividends of 25 centavos per share before the year ends.
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange Friday, the CEU board said the cash dividend will be payable on Dec. 12 to stockholders on record as of Nov. 19.
In the second quarter, the university registered a net income of P12.43 million from a net loss of P23.57 million a year. Revenues rose by 10 to P248 million from P224 million on higher tuition and other school fees during the same comparable period.
Opened in 1907 by Librada Avelino and Carmen de Luna, the school now offers comprehensive training and development in the fields of Business, Dentistry, Optometry, Nutrition, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Tourism Management, Pharmacy, Nursing, and Computer Science. – Danessa Rivera/VS, GMA News
