Extra flights added to high volume routes of Cebu Pacific, AirAsia
Booked your flight yet? AirAsia and Cebu Pacific added domestic flights in anticipating of the peak summer travel season. In a statement, AirAsia said it will have Clark to Davao City, and Clark to Kalibo flights available to the public for an all-in fare of P799 and P599, respectively, which includes base fare, fuel surcharge, aviation security fee, processing fee and value-added tax. Flight booking started on March 5 and will run until March 18. The flight period is from March 28 this year to January 31, 2013. Cebu Pacific added domestic flights this summer in time for the arrival of its two brand new Airbus A230 this month. The following routes will become daily from February 8 to June 15, 2012: Cebu-Dipolog, Cebu-Legazpi and Cebu-Pagadian. Three weekly flights will be added to the Cebu-Puerto Princesa route, from March 17 to June 4, 2012. From March 24 to April 25, 2012, the airline will also add flights to its Manila-Legazpi and Manila-Puerto Princesa routes. — ELR, GMA News
