NGCP: 10-hr power interruption in parts of Aklan on March 1

Parts of Aklan province may have a 10-hour power interruption on Sunday, March 1, the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines said Thursday.

The NGCP said the power interruption is due to the scheduled shutdown of the 69-kilovolt Nabas-Sapian line.

It said the shutdown may affect the Aklan Electric Cooperative franchise, and cause a power outage from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The power interruption will facilitate the replacement of poles, cross-arms and insulator along the line. — Joel Locsin/LBG, GMA News
