Residents in some areas of Tarlac province may need to brace themselves for a six-hour brownout on Thursday, December 22, the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines said.
In a power bulletin posted on its Facebook account, the NGCP said the interruption is due to a maintenance activity involving refilling of insulating gas for power circuit breaker, which will only affect TARELCO II's Concepcion-LaPaz 69kV line.
The Power outage will start at 8 a.m. and scheduled to end at 2 p.m.
Specific affected areas are determined by the distribution utility.
The NGCP said it will exert all efforts to restore power earlier, or as scheduled. —LBG, GMA News
