The MRT had been free of glitches that result in the offloading of passengers for seven days since February 21, the Department of Transportation announced on its Facebook page on Wednesday night.

"We recorded zero passenger unloading incident for the past week, or for 7 consecutive days!" the DOTr post read.

"The last unloading incident was recorded 21 February 2018. An all-time high since MTT takeover, and since 2017!" it added.

The DOTr also adverted to the arrival of train spare parts that it announced weeks ago.

"What a way to end February! Thank you, spare parts!" the post read.

Over 900 passengers were offloaded at the Guadalupe Station on February 21 after a northbound train suffered failures in its motor, diagnostic panel and air conditioner. —NB/KG, GMA News
