Petron, Solane announce big-time LPG price rollback

Petron Corp. and Solane announced on Friday a big-time rollback in the prices of their liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) products, effective December 1.

In an advisory, Petron said it will slash the prices of Gasul and Fiesta Gas prices by P6.40 per kilogram, equivalent to a decrease of P70 per 11-kilogram standard household cylinder.

It will also reduce the price of its AutoLPG by P3.50 per liter.

In a separate advisory, Solane said it will decrease the price of its LPG brand by P6.39 per kilogram.

The changes will take effect 12:01 a.m. on December 1, Saturday.

According to the latest data available from the Department of Energy (DOE), prices of 11-kilogram cylinders of LPG in the country currently range from P613 to P785. —LDF, GMA News
