LPG prices down in April

Households will pay less for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) this month, as firms on Monday announced a rollback following the hike implemented in March.

In an advisory, Petron Corp. said it will cut LPG prices by P1.00 per kilogram effective 12 noon on Monday, April 1, 2024.

“This reflects the international contract price of LPG for the month of April,” the advisory read.

Other firms have yet to make similar announcements for the month.

Latest data available from the Department of Energy (DOE) show that prices of 11-kilogram LPG cylinders in Metro Manila ranged from P830.00 to P1,068 for the month of March.—AOL, GMA Integrated News
