Gasoline, diesel pump prices up; kerosene down Tuesday, June 3, 2025

Pump prices of gasoline and diesel will be hiked on Tuesday, while those of kerosene will be rolled back.

In separate advisories, Chevron Philippines Inc. (Caltex), Petron Corp., Seaoil Philippines Corp. and Shell Pilipinas Corp. said they will increase prices per liter of gasoline by P0.40 and diesel by P0.30, while lowering those of kerosene by P0.10.

Cleanfuel, and Petro Gazz, and PTT Philippines Corp. will implement the same changes, excluding kerosene which they do not carry.

The adjustments will take effect at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, June 3, for all the firms, excluding Cleanfuel which will implement the changes at 4:01 p.m. the same day.

Other firms have yet to make similar announcements for the week.

The Department of Energy-OIl Industry Management Bureau (DOE-OIMB) earlier projected mixed movements in the prices of petroleum products this week, citing the potential new US sanctions on Russia, the easing of the US-European Union tariff concerns, and the increased production in July.

Firms last week hiked prices per liter of gasoline by P0.10, while rolling back those of diesel by P0.20, and kerosene by P0.40. — RSJ, GMA Integrated News
