Chevron rolls back pump prices of gasoline, diesel, kerosene
Chevron Philippines Inc., which carries the Caltex brand, announced Thursday another round of rollbacks to mark the second downward adjustment in its pump prices this week.
In an advisory, Chevron said prices of gasoline were lowered by P0.60, diesel by P0.35, and kerosene by P0.50 at 6 a.m. at Caltex stations at 6:01 a.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2025.
Chevron, along with other fuel retailers, already lowered prices per liter of gasoline by P1.40, diesel by P1.80, and kerosene by P2.20 at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, July 1, 2025.
This came after six straight weeks of pump price hikes for gasoline, four for diesel, and three for kerosene.
The Department of Energy-Oil Industry Management Bureau (DOE-OIMB) earlier projected a downward adjustment this week, citing the announcement of a ceasefire between Israel and Iran which calmed down global crude oil prices. — VDV, GMA Integrated News
