Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs Frederick Go

GYEONGJU, South Korea - Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs (SAPIEA) Frederick Go is positive about the possible investments that could be yielded from Korean businesses.

Go is part of the delegation of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. in the 2025 APEC Summit in south Korea.

“I met with Samsung Electro-Mechanics company and 16 other Korean companies,” Go said in a message.

Asked about the estimates of the possible investments, Go said, “No estimates for now. But very positive.”

These are mostly in the electronics sector, Go said.

Marcos has expressed confidence that the Philippines is ready to do business with APEC member-economies.

"The Philippines is open and ready and eager to do business with you," Marcos said during his speech at the APEC CEO Summit.

Marcos highlighted the country's strategic position as well as its dynamic workforce as he invited member-economies to do business with the Philippines.
