DHVSU grad tops October 2025 CPA licensure exam


A graduate of the Don Honorio Ventura Technological State University (DHVSU) or Pampanga State University achieved the top score in the licensure examination for certified public accountants (CPAs) held last month.

According to the Professional Regulation Commission, 3,460 out of 10,171 test takers passed the exam, given by the Board of Accountancy at 18 testing centers nationwide in October.

Mike Ronnel Diwa Castro of DHVSU or PamSU was the top scorer with a result of 91.83%, while the top performing school with at least 50 examinees is Bicol University-Daraga, with 56 of its 66 test takers passing for a success rate of 84.85%.

"The result of examination with respect to one (1) examinee was withheld pending final determination of his/her liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations," the PRC added.
