Gasoline prices down; diesel and kerosene up Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025
Fuel retailers on Monday announced mixed movements in pump prices of petroleum products, as gasoline prices will be rolled back after six straight weeks of increases, while those of diesel will be hiked for the fourth straight week.
In separate advisories, Chevron Philippines Inc. (Caltex), Petron Corp., Seaoil Philippines Corp., and Shell Pilipinas Corp. said they will lower prices per liter of gasoline by P0.20, while hiking those of diesel by P0.60, and kerosene by P1.30.
Cleanfuel, Petro Gazz, PTT Philippines Corp., and Unioil Petroleum Philippines Inc., which do not carry kerosene, will implement the same changes.
The adjustments will take effect at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, for all the firms, except for Cleanfuel which will adjust prices at 4:01 p.m. the same day.
The Department of Energy-Oil Industry Management Bureau (DOE-OIMB) earlier projected mixed movements for this week, citing global supply, demand, and geopolitics.
Retailers last week hiked prices per liter of gasoline by P0.50, and diesel by P1.00, bringing year-to-date adjustments to a net increase of P19.90 per liter for gasoline, P24.05 per liter for diesel, and P8.65 per liter for kerosene as of November 18, 2025. — RSJ, GMA Integrated News
