PH to ban import of poultry products from Spain

The Philippines is set to ban pork products from Spain due to the African swine fever (ASF), citing the cases in the country.

According to Agriculture Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr., the ban order will be released on Wednesday, covering products after November 11, 2025.

“Sa ASF, sa Spain, lalabas today ‘yung order to ban starting, ang na-identify namin is ‘yung anything produced after November 11 will not be allowed until ma-clear na sila for ASF,” he said.
