Marcos admin commits to creating fair, enabling business environment
President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on Thursday ensured that his administration would continue to establish a fair and enabling business environment.
Marcos said this as he led the Job Fair + Skills E-Hub at the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) in Pasay City.
“Use this occasion to build partnerships, explore new ideas, and envision bigger possibilities,” Marcos said in his speech.
“Be assured this administration will continue to create a fair, transparent, and enabling business environment—one that encourages both local and foreign investments and rewards persistence with progress,” he added.
The President acknowledged that many Filipinos are having a hard time finding employment that matches their skills, interests, and aspirations.
“We recognize that it is our responsibility to ensure that assistance is something that meets them wherever they are,” he said.
Marcos said that the global workforce is changing “very, very quickly,” but he is confident that Filipinos will keep pace and even lead when given the right support and the right opportunities.
“To our entrepreneurs: This is your stage. Show the excellence, the creativity, the innovation that define the Filipino spirit,” Marcos said.
Marcos also visited the Skills E-Hub exhibit, which features digital upskilling and artificial intelligence (AI), along with a job fair and other employment services booths. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
