Dubai International Chamber opens Manila office

The Dubai International Chamber, which seeks to promote Dubai as a global business hub, has opened its first representative office in Manila in line with efforts to strengthen trade and investment ties with the Philippines.

According to the Dubai International Chamber, its Manila office will support Filipino firms in exploring opportunities in Dubai and expanding their international presence. It will also give Dubai-based companies local market insights and connect them with partners to enable market entry.

“Dubai International Chamber’s Manila office will serve as a platform to accelerate this momentum by working closely with public and private sector stakeholders to strengthen bilateral relations, provide market intelligence, forge partnerships, and support companies from both markets in growing their cross-border operations, while showcasing Dubai’s competitive advantages as a leading global business destination,” it said in a statement.

“It will also provide valuable market intelligence to help Filipino companies establish a presence in Dubai and leverage the emirate as a platform for international growth,” it added.

Dubai Chambers president and chief executive officer H.E. Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah said the expansion into the Philippines was driven by strong trade growth, as the Philippines’ non-oil trade with Dubai reached AED 3.58 billion in 2025, with total bilateral trade up 17%.

“The opening of our office in Manila reflects our commitment to strengthening economic relations between Dubai and the Philippines and creating new paths for cooperation between business communities in both markets,” he said. —VBL, GMA News
