LTFRB to look into taxi driver who allegedly stole from Maegan Aguilar
The Land Transportation and Franchising Board (LTFRB) on Monday said it will look into the incident involving a taxi driver who fled with several of musician Maegan Aguilar's personal belongings Sunday night.
"I will act on this," LTFRB Board Member Aileen A. Lizada said in a text message. She did not elaborate.
She was referring to the incident where a taxi driver supposedly robbed Maegan Aguilar Sunday night.
According to her post on Facebook, Aguilar said she took a white Avanza Nimble cab with a plate number WIW 727 from Cubao and asked to be taken to Santolan, Pasig at around 8:00 p.m.
“Tinulungan nya akong ibaba ang mga gamit from his trunk, and as I was carrying my boxes to the gate ay tumakas na po yung driver tangay tangay po ang aking gitara, shoes, and some clothes na nasa loob ng guitar case,” she said.
Aguilar said she has already reported the incident to 911, the LTFRB, and even the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), but no action has been taken on her complaint so far. — LA/KVD, GMA News
