Green GSM partners with 75 transport co-ops and firms to deploy 18,497 VinFast EVs in PH
Ride-hailing platform Green GSM has signed a series of memoranda of understanding (MOUs) and deposit agreements with 75 transport companies and cooperatives to deploy up to 18,497 VinFast electric vehicles (EVs) across the Philippines.
In a news release, Green GSM said the move forms part of the next phase of its fleet expansion in the country.
The agreements cover major urban centers and provinces experiencing high mobility demand and a shifting focus toward sustainable transport.
Luzon: Metro Manila, Cavite, Pampanga, Batangas, and Baguio

Green GSM said the 18,497-vehicle fleet will be deployed through a mix of direct investments and long-term leasing arrangements.
The rollout will feature VinFast VF 5/HerioGreen and Limo Green models, both optimized for ride-hailing and passenger transport.
Under the partnership framework, local cooperatives and transport companies will manage daily fleet operations and driver networks, while Green GSM provides the standardized platform and service quality controls.
Following the signing, partner cooperatives are expected to finalize their vehicle orders to begin the phased deployment later this year. —VBL, GMA News
