Police say it has list of celebrity clients of Karen Bordador, boyfriend

The District Anti-Illegal Drugs Division of the Southern Police District on Wednesday said it has in its possession a list of actors, singers, and models who are clients of radio disc jockey Karen Bordador and her boyfriend, suspected drug pusher Emilio Lim.

In an exclusive report by Marisol Abduhrahman on "24 Oras," SPD-DAID chief Sr. Insp. Wilfredo Sanghel urged the couple's clients to surrender to the authorities or else, face arrest.

"Or else makakakuha kami ng lead para ma-catch up namin sila. Gumagamit sila at maaring nagbebenta rin sila," Sanghel said.

Several customers of the couple supposedly also include children of wealth families and other known personalities.

Bordador and Lim were arrested in a buy-bust operation last Saturday. Confiscated were ecstasy tablets, ecstasy powder, cracked ecstasy, dried marijuana leaves, and marijuana resins/oil with estimated value amounting to P2.8 million, drug paraphernalia, and money counting machines.

Police said Lim, 32, was the supplier of ecstasy and other party drugs in high end bars in Bonifacio Global City and Makati City.

The couple has maintained their innocence.

The SPD said it is already coordinating with club owners in their jurisdiction to identify other names possibly linked to illegal drugs. —Joseph Tristan Roxas/JST, GMA News
