A 27-year-old Chinese national fell to his death from the sixth floor of his office building in Pamplona Dos, Las Piñas City last Friday past 4 a.m.
According to Athena Imperial's Saturday report on GMA 7 news program "24 Oras Weekend," the victim, identified as Yang Kang, was handcuffed when he was found.
Security footage showed the Chinese national clambering out of a sixth-floor window. Kang could be seen peering out the window before detaching its grills and climbing out.
A security guard said he found Kang's body handcuffed and sprawled across the street below past 7 a.m.
Las Piñas police suspected that Kang's employer was holding the Chinese national prisoner.
Authorities said they are currently tracking down Kang's supervisor, whom police have yet to identify, for his statement.
— Margaret Claire Layug/DVM, GMA News
