Fire hits fast-food outlet at Quezon City mall

A fire broke out at a mall in Quezon City on Tuesday, according to a report of Julee Anne Mae Cabrera on Super Radyo dzBB.

The fire started at a fast food outlet inside the mall around 1 p.m.

Fairview Fire Sub-Station’s Senior Fire Officer 3 Antonio Santillon confirmed to GMA News Online that the fire started at the Mang Inasal branch in SM Fairview.

According to the ground commander, Quezon City Fire Major Jojo Bermundo, no alarm had been raised because the fire had been immediately put out.

However, shoppers were advised to leave the building for their safety.

Investigation on the cause of the fire was underway.

In a report on "State of the Nation with Jessica Soho", the management of SM Fairview said it immediately cordoned off the restaurant and let the people out.

Mang Inasal has yet to issue a statement as regards the incident.
