All employees of the Pasig City Hall — regular, contractual, and job order ones — will be paid full salaries amid the enhanced community quarantine currently in place in Luzon, Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto announced Tuesday.
"Wag kayong mag-alala, tuloy-tuloy kayong makakatanggap ng buong sweldo -- kahit yung mga Job Order na 'no work no pay.' Gagawan natin ng paraan. Basta, mag-ingat, at hangga't maaari sa bahay lang muna kayo," Sotto said in a Facebook post.
"Sa mga empleyado namang nasa Frontlines, meron kayong hazard pay, OT, at iba pang benepisyong maaasahan," he added.
Under Executive Order No. PCG-15, the Pasic City Government identified the following offices who are enjoined to adopt a complete work from home arrangement:
- All satellite offices of BPLO and RPT
- Civil Registry
- Pasig Sports Center
- Tanghalang Pasigueno
- Cooperative Development Office
- Building Official
- City Perks
According to the order, these offices may devise their process of reporting accomplishments during the quarantine period.
Meanwhile, the following offices will maintain a skeletal workforce:
- Office of the City Mayor
- Budget Office
- Accounting Office
- GSO-Building Utility, Central Supply
- Public Information Office
- Office of the City Administrator
- Ugnayan sa Pasig
- Records Management Office
- Building Maintenance
- Electrical Maintenance
The following offices will be in full operation:
- City Health Office
- CDRRMO, RED
- Youth Home
- Market Administration
- Action Line
- City Veterinary Service Office, PACU
- DSWD, DayCare
- Solid Waste
- Kabataan Patrol
The Office of the Vice Mayor and other legislative offices shall devise their own alternative work arrangements.
The country's largest island, where Metro Manila is, was placed under an enhanced community quarantine in an effort to prevent the further spread of the coronavirus disease 2019, which has already infected at least 187 people, killing 12 of them. —Joahna Lei Casilao/MDM, GMA News
