Arlington chapel shares photos of Mayor Alfredo Lim's cremation rites

A day after the death of former Manila Mayor Alfredo S. Lim, Arlington Memorial Chapels shared on Sunday some photos of the cremation rites for his remains.

Lim passed away on Saturday. He was 90 years old.

Lim, a former police official, served as senator from 2004 to 2007. He was Manila mayor for a total of 12 years from 1992 to 1999, and from 2007 to 2013.

He was also former director of the National Bureau of Investigation (1989-1992) and secretary of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (2000 to 2001) during the administration of President Joseph Estrada, who beat him in the 1998 presidential elections. —LBG, GMA News
