In the aftermath of Typhoon Ulysses, Ateneo de Manila University and De La Salle University have both eased their academic workload for one week
In a memo shared on social media, Ateneo's student publication The Guidon said the university will suspend classes for one week from November 16-21 "to give more time for both students and faculty to recover from he aftermath of all kinds of disasters around us."
And while synchronous activities/classes remain suspended between November 23-28, asynchronous activities/classes will resume.
All synchronous and asynchronous activities are suspended from November 16 to 21 to allow students and faculty to recover. Synchronous classes will be suspended from November 23 to 28, however asynchronous activities will resume.

Meanwhile, The LaSallian on Twitter reports that academic workload for students shall be eased between November 16-21, "moving all deadlines to succeeding weeks."
It added that professors aren't allowed to give graded activities and are "encouraged" to reduce or forego synchronous sessions.
ADDENDUM: The LaSallian wishes to clarify that faculty members are not required but are only "encouraged" to reduce or forego synchronous sessions.
