Delivery rider gropes woman in QC

A delivery rider was caught on camera groping a woman on the street in Quezon City, according to Jonathan Andal's report on "24 Oras Weekend" on Sunday.

Based on CCTV footage, the 23-year-old woman was walking in broad daylight in Barangay on May 14 when a man she passed by suddenly followed her then groped her.

The victim immediately ran, while her assailant fled in a different direction.

The woman then filed a complaint with the barangay.

"Nanginginig po sa takot [she was shaking in fear]," the barangay official said.

Authorities identified the man as Justin De Guzman, adding that a complaint or complaints for the same crime had been filed against him before.

"Actually itong victim na 'to, siya ang nagbigay sa atin ng name. Desidido raw po siyang isampa 'yong reklamo para nang sa ganoon, 'yong mga kababaihang nabiktima tulad niya, makapagsampa kaukulang reklamo laban dito sa suspek," QCPD Station 11 commander Police Lieutenant Colonel Elizabeth Jasmin said.

[The victim gave us the  name. She is determined to file a complaint so that the other women he victimized might also file complaints.]
