Security tightened for JV's wedding in San Juan

Security was tightened in San Juan Saturday for the afternoon wedding of mayor Jose Victor "JV" Ejercito, but the security was not only for the groom. QTV-11 television reported Saturday noon that police also secured former President Joseph Estrada, whom the Sandiganbayan allowed to attend the wedding. The former President arrived in San Juan from his rest house in Tanay, Rizal at about 11 a.m., and was whisked off to his house at 1 Polk St., North Greenhills in San Juan. On the other hand, preparations were still ongoing for the 6 p.m. wedding at the St. John the Baptist parish church in Pinaglabanan district. The QTV-11 report said Sen. Jose "Jinggoy" Estrada, JV's half-brother, was not invited to the wedding, though the senator said he would not likely attend even if he were invited. - GMANews.TV
