Pastor Quiboloy says he did not 'stop' Tisoy because of bashers

Pastor Apollo Quiboloy claimed that he did not stop Typhoon Tisoy from entering the country because he was bashed when he "stopped" the earthquake that hit Mindanao in October.

In a video interview posted on Facebook, the leader of Kingdom of Jesus Christ said he decided to just let the typhoon pass through the country.

"Kasi nung ini-stop ko yung earthquake, nagalit man sila. Binash ako ng napakarami. So, baka i-stop ko yung bagyo magalit baka magalit na naman. O, kaya pinabayaan na natin," he said.

"Mag-pray na lang tayo 'yung bagyo lumampas na lang. E, di ngayon normal na. Tulungan na lang natin 'yung mga nasalanta," he added.

Earlier, Quiboloy claimed that the public ought to thank him for "stopping" a deadly earthquake that struck Mindanao last October.

"Ako'y umiinom lang ng kape eh, lumilindol. Sinabi ko, 'lindol huminto ka!' Huminto," he said in a televised program.

In the Facebook entry posted on Thursday, the self-described "Appointed Son of God" called on his followers to pray.

He added that his group is ready to help victims of calamities.

"Ang hindi mai-stop diyan 'yung tulong namin," Quiboloy said. — BAP/KBK, GMA News
